Anderson Counseling Services (ACS) is looking for QMHP-T’s, QMHP-A’s and QMHP-C’s to start immediately. We are hiring part-time and full-time QMHPs to work with youth and/or adults in our licensed programs, clients have been assessed and are waiting! ACS is an experienced counseling agency that provides excellent support, supervision, and training opportunities. $17-$23 per hour. ACS is also looking for LPC or residents to work in our outpatient program.

Residents have earned a Master’s degree in the mental health field. Anderson Counseling will provide the required clinical, supervision and service hours needed to obtain Virginia state licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW. All clinical mental health services provided by residents and supervisees are done under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician. These staff members also attend group supervision and staff meetings monthly. Individual/triadic supervision is also available.

We offer training opportunities for you to grow clinically and relationally through supervision, collaboration and trainings. Licensed clinicians are expected to work independently and have a high level of professionalism supporting each developing therapeutic relationship.

Students working on their internship for their graduate degree meet with our practicum/internship coordinator as needed for individualized support. Interns see clients weekly and attend a 1-hour individual supervision weekly, group supervision and staff meetings monthly. Additional individual/triadic supervision is also available. Our program provides the required clinical and supervision hours for graduation and licensing.

Our program provides the required clinical and supervision hours to complete an undergrad internship class. This is an unpaid position but does offer free supervision.
